Some old stuff I came across while trying to organise my room.

The tram article is taken from the Examiner January 1983 written by Andrew Flynn

I was trying to organise my life and came across these. There is not a lot of information about the Palace prior to the fire, other than it started as music hall.
Has anybody got more?

The steam tram is well known. The first municipal tramway in Britain, opening 1883, going electric in 1902 and closing in 1940. The first trolley bus ran in 1933. Andrew Flynn, brother of a fellow New Mill Chorister, fills in some of the details in his 1983 article, celebrating the tram's 100th birthday.
